Our girls are the same way....they will not eat unless we are home with them. Our girls go to doggy day care at times and we sent treats to hold them over until dinner....99% of the time they will not eat the treats.
Another thing we have noticed is that our girls will not go potty if we are not home.......they wait until we return and then make a dash outside......but if too much time passes .... we might find someone used the pee pads....but it is normally if we are gone more than 4/5 hours.
