After a full copulation, the males organ will stay fully erect, and out sometimes for a few hours. It doesn't matter that it was another male or female.
Usually a prolonged erection can be minimized by cold water, and a natural lubricant that humans use. Apply it carefully- and don't be suprised if you choose to do this if your dogs gets more aroused for a while. The cold water will really help in my experience.
