My wife had been saying for a year that she wanted a Yorkie. I didn't really object to the idea, but wasn't particularly excited about it, either. May 4 of this year we went to look at a litter of Yorkie pups that were ready to be taken to homes. By the time we left with Bailey (about an hour and a half after we arrived) I was the Yorkie nut in the family. Before we left with Bailey I'd been trying for a half hour to figure out how we could also take Bailey's sister that was also available. Now I'm wanting a second one as soon as possible and the wife is putting on the brakes.
She seems to think I've gone a little overboard because I've bought her a BUNCH of bows, a T-Shirt that says "Daddy's Little Girl" and a pretty big pile of toys. She does remind me that Bailey is supposed to be HER dog (Bailey was her Mother's Day present), but I just tell her I love HER dog.
