Welcome to YT! Lucy is adorable!!

From what I've read and my own personal experience, I'd say the best time to add a second puppy is when your first is between 1.5 and 2 years old. The reason being, the first pup has been trained and has settled down into a regular routine - it's less stressful to train one at a time. Then you can focus your attention to training the second puppy. For me, training one at a time was more than enough frustration! Though, I would say that if you want two puppies at the same time, the best is if they came from the same litter.

And yes to Matese's suggestion - make sure you spay and neuter them as soon as they're age-appropriate (I spayed and neutered my two when they were 8 months; they're 1.5 years apart).
