I know that feeling all too well. After I lost Dixie - and was told no cure for PLE - and 5K later in medical bills. 18 yrs ago - did my home work and touched base with a couple of friends I knew that showed Yorkies and found a excellent breeder and bought another female that lived for 15 years. Yes the new Gracie cost me more $ but the mental comfort was so worth it and she didn't have any problems. In fact I bought two more from her just this last fall.
You will get plenty of help on this list and of excellent breeders and who to stay away from.
Time will help heal, but nothing will ever replace, but you can love again and these babies have so much love to give.
