This just shatters my heart.......before you even think about getting another dog, please get a decent vet....someone with some compassion.... Meanwhile, you can be socking money away, to help you cover the expense of a dog in the event of a vet emergency....what those people did to that baby is inhumane and sheer greed.....I had a vet once, they dont like to take payments on time because soooooooo many people end up not paying their bill, but a couple of the vets I have known, will hold jewelry or even guns ....it is a pain in the butt for the vet to act like a pawn shop, but some of them would take an occasional case of patients they have in their patient list already, in order to save the pet....apply for the Care Credit.....you have to have financial back up for any pet you have under your care for just such instances as this. I think it is a terrible thing that vet would not try to work with you on some level, to help your pup.....
What did they charge you to cremate the pup??? THAT is usually kind of expensive.....it would have been no cost at all to bring that baby back home and bury her..... |
