I'm still looking for something for between baths, but the coconut oil treatment and ion conditioner used in the bath and mixed with water to make a spray are helping.
Be warned, if you use coconut oil it is strong smelling, but it doesn't bother me. I'm usually ok with food smells. The ion conditioner I use doesn't have much of a scent.
I don't understand why they make dog products so strong smelling, I've never had a stinky dog. They may smell a little when they're really hot, but it's not a bad smell.
I used to have to rebath my poodle when she got back from the groomers, she'd smell like they dumped a bottle of nasty powdery floral perfume on her. |
I can't stand those grooming spray smells either...like baby powder mixed w/bathroom floral spray loll.
The Espree Aloe Hydrating spray has a very light clean (or was it fresh) scent. Not strong @ all.
