I am going through the same thing right now. Lexi is full grown at 5 lbs. and when I got my Shih Tzu, Parker, Lexi was the one annoying him but they seemed to play very well together. Just recently things have reversed. Parker is now bigger (10 lbs.) and constantly annoying Lexi. It starts as playing and then I think when Lexi is done and Parker still wants to play it escalates. A few times Parker has pulled Lexi off the couch by her tail! Sometimes its hard to tell when playing turns into fighting. I will pull Parker away when I can tell he is bothering Lexi. He is still only 5 months old so I'm hoping things get calmer between them again soon. |
