So, so sorry for the loss of your puppy. Losing one is devastating but at such a young age, oh my heart breaks for you.

Listen to bjh she is really smart and knows her stuff. Really work hard to find a reputable breeder, it is way more important than color. All of the reputable breeders I know would have given you a contract that states they will cover the cost if something like this happens. The best breeders will give five or 6 year contracts like this. I really feel for you. Best of luck.
