We did rawhide chews , stuck in the end of a Kong toy for quite a while. They could have them when sitting at my feet and they were replaced daily. I decided that they just weren't very good for them.
Greenies can choke a tiny baby if they break off a chunk.
The girls are now chewing on split antlers. I do have to be careful when they are new to not let them have them for very long. The center is very rich and can upset tummies. I haven't had any problems with splintering. The girls are still required to sit at my feet or beside me to have them. Usually so I can have some computer time for YT. |
