WOW! This is wonderful! I really hope she can change the way so many people look at animals. I had to laugh at the description of her calling the dogs people because I started doing this about a year ago. At first my hubs looked at me strange when I did it, but now he accepts it as a "shannon-ism". I do get amused at the reactions from other people who don't know me when I say it. Thank you for sharing this!
