I've only got Yumi so not a whole lot of experience, but she pretty much loves everyone. she doesn't let anyone catch her, but she bounces and wags around them in circles, stands up on her hind legs a couple feet away and hops up and down, general crazy yuminess and if i hold her to let people in she runs in my arms trying to get to them.
Yuri isn't a yorkie but he's our mean dog. He just doesn't like strangers. He's never bit a child, but he doesn't like them in general. Over time he gets used to kids individually. He's even happy to see kids he know well, but he's more on edge when they're here. He was really only around 1 kid growing up, and multiple kids together is a whole different level of crazy. Our biggest issue is getting him used to a child in the 1st place. Most adults you can tell how to act with him, kids are much harder. |
