When one of my pups had to stay several days at the I thought the same way you did, so I never went. My last girl was at vet for several days, tech called me to come visit her, I told her what my feelings were, the tech told me it's good for the dog, I forget her exact words because it was years ago, but it had to do with the dog gets excited, and thats a good thing. I am sure there are members here that can explain why it's best to see your pup. Now if my pup has to be at vet for several days, I visit everyday. Yes it breaks my heart to go, because, yes he thinks he's coming home, but I know it's in the best interest for my baby.
