I think this is a 'lack of bonding' issue. Yorkies love attention, and will accept good or bad. She's gotten in the habit of getting bad attention, and is most likely in panic mode bc at the same time, she wants to avoid the bad attention and at heart wants to be a good dog, but doesn't have a clue how to do that.
Cover your clothes with a peepad or a blanket and put her on your lap and remain calm, no matter what she does. All the pooing and peeing is her nerves. Calm and sooth her with your voice. Smile a lot, as it's harder to think and say bad things if you're smiling. Lap time can be short, but make it last longer each time.
You have to reward the good, ignore the bad. Seriously, can it get any worse? |
