I have 4 and some are more cuddly than others. Toby is my biggest lap dog. He's 9 years old and I got him at about 5 months. That dog would follow me anywhere. He's definitely a Momma's boy!
Bear is 14 1/2. I got him at 9 weeks old and he's never been a big lap dog. He will lay near me but not usually on me. Haley will be 13 in a couple of months and I got her at 9 weeks old. She will cuddle as long as it's her idea. She'll jump on my lap and lick my face and then usually lay next to me. Lily is my 4 year old Yorkie Poodle mix. I've had her for about a year. I'm pretty sure she had been abused so she was pretty skittish at first but she's starting to come around. She'll sit on the back of the couch and tap me on the shoulder when she wants attention and she likes to sleep on my pillow at night. So I guess I have 1 out of 4 that is a true lap dog.
