If it's the type of breeder that studies the lines and adult weights of the ancestors of the breeding pair, going back at least 5 generations, I'd say the breeders, but don't forget, "experience" doesn't mean she's through. I also don't think a good breeder would give you exact number, I think they would be more likely to give you a range. So in this case, I would say, the breeding charts are more likely to give you an correct estimate. How long have you had the pup and what did it weigh when you got it?
