I grew up taking honors art classes and advanced placement art classes. I even went to school with the intention to get an art degree although I have taken a long break from school now. Bottomline is, I have had to endure a lot of constructive critism while working on my portfolio. I try to use critism to improve myself while always maintaining my own style and techniques. While art is very diverse and there are many styles and techniques and opinions, there are certain things that critics continually look at, which is an artists interpretation of an object wether through form, contrast, technique, shape, style, color, texture and many other things. So when you are asking for your artwork to be criticed you have to accept the ideas and opinions of your critics and make the best of it. It will make you stronger. If people just told michelangelo that his work was great whenever he was a student, then he may not have created the wonderful artwork that he is so well known for today. So I hope you continue to draw and keep up you passion for it. I wish you well in everything you do.
