Thank you for your responses. My little Bentley just had 5 teeth pulled....he's on 3 different meds...one being buprinex which is making him VERY sleepy....I scrambled an egg with a tiny bit of coconut oil (hopefully this will heal him faster) and offered it to him...the other 2 gobbled theirs down...Bentley just licked at it...I think the meds are getting to him. The vet isn't sure if there may be something else going on with him so, I am PRAYING a little coconut oil will help to heal what ever is going on...I thought the egg would be a nice change for him as well..
