So glad to hear that care credit helped you out. If you are in a pinch financially, it may be worth calling around to get estimates.

I know that the vets in my area charge almost double what the vets charge in my home town(which is 1.5 hours away from where I live). Depending on what I am getting done, it's worth the drive for me to go home.

For example...the vet down the road quoted me $300-$500 to get my 2 year olds teeth cleaned. The vet up by my parents will charge me $100...and I think it's like $20 for each extraction. It cost me $200 to get my dogs teeth cleaned when he was 8 years old, plus a few extractions, plus a heartworm test and a rabies vaccination.
