I missed seeing the full story so I am not sure, probably due to money and lack of brains, which is not required when giving birth. The news is involved now so I am sure she will get help
This morning they showed a homeless man in Detroit laying on a city grate to stay warm, there are more than enough places to seek temporary shelter in this weather, you just have to do it, but the man probably has mental problems so the police were helping find a place for him.
