Ickey (my new Yorkie Pup) is chiming in respectably, and Navi (Chihuahua Rescue) even has joined in on occasion. She's not exactly clear at this time, just what to bark at. It's kinda funny, my Yorkies are all rather robust animals, and hearing Navi's rather mild bark, always makes me laugh. |
That's what my husband keeps saying. Leiloni's way of alarming us is tilting her head back and forth. Even when there's a knock on the door she will run to the door but will not make a sound. Unlike Gus who once scared a 6'4" tall, 260 + pound sears repair man and actually went running back to his truck and jumped into it to get away from my 3 pound Gus. While screaming like a girl I might add. His partner and I were laughing so hard. Gus would have never chased him if he didn't run. From then on I had to lock Gus up in the other room when opening the door to strangers. Gus definitely had little guy syndrome. But his bark was all show because if you bent down to look at him or even talk to him he would run into my arms.
