What are you trying to do? I think of the URL as the address, where the link is located on the web. For example this thread has an address. You see it at the top of the page, and it starts with "http . . ." if you use the word "url" at the beginning and end of the address in brackets, it will show up as a link. We don't have to put the word URL in, Yorkietalk automatically does it for us.
