The accurate numbers that usually come in annually are that 8-9 million animals end up in rescues or shelters. Of that 8-9 million, 3-4 million are killed annually.

Here in Phoenix alone, we kill 60,000 animals (yes, KILL) annually.

Now, I'm curious why you'd respond w/ "so there" - as if the info preceding it made everything okay. I would have loved to have seen you respond in such a way that showed you understood the gravity of breeding *any* living creatures, let alone these particular 2. Tina, I don't know you, but I'm sure you have a good heart inside you -- so I hope I reach it, somehow, when I say with kindness that I'm so saddened and disappointed to read that you bred these 2 precious ones - even after all that they've already endured in their lives.
It was their turn to be FIRST, for once, and sadly I think you failed them. I'm sorry to say that bc I know those kinds of words hurt, but I think the truth is important here.
