Breeders have told me it's one of the most difficult coats to produce in the dog world, and I think it does attract those people who love a challenge. Dark blue is the preferred coat, but lighter blue is usually silk and you will love that. I have one that's a silk cotton mixture and every sticker in the world latches on to him when we go for our walks.
