Hello everyone! I'm new to this board, and am getting my first Yorkie in a month when we move back to our own home (I was in school for two years so we have been renting). I have already found a puppy (6 mo) and have visited him a couple of times now. My concern is that he seems to be very shy. The last time I visited (yesterday) he did come up to me though, and that is an improvement.
Do you think his shyness is just due to his living situation? The owners are an older couple and while they play with the puppies, there are never any other people around. The puppy doesn't seem to be shy at all around them, just me. I just want the puppy to be comfortable with me, and not scared.
