Don't feel bad...I had given up finding one of the cutest decorated scrunchies Mia lost. Over a year later, having repeatedly vacuumed, moved furniture around, etc., out it popped from under the furniture. I also pick up scrunchies out of the year. The dress...now that's interesting.
Closest mine have come to that is slipping a front leg our of a sleeve and through the neck, getting the velcro unstuck from itself and stuck to their hair, or 'backing' out of a harness...which, if they can do that, gets replaced immediately.
