Sorry about what happened to your Chuck. My vet is really cautious about giving vaccines to little dogs. They will not give multiple shots at one time. They broke up Gracie's shots into different visits. They were tech visits so I did not have to pay for an office visit every time. Puppies should not get their shots all at once. It may be inconvenient to make several trips but to me it is worth avoiding a problem. Some pups may be able to take it but you don't want to take the chance of yours being the one who could not.
I have also been reading a lot about over vaccinating of our pets and how it could be effecting them in the long term. It might be something you want to consider looking into.
