I would do some research on the company's of the food your vets want you to use. Maybe you need to talk to a vet nutritionist they can better tell you what your dog needs. I believe Iams was charged with animal cruelty. Purina which is another food vets like is the makers of waggin train chicken jerky and will not pull it even though it has killed many many dogs and I will not support either of those foods. You also need to look at ingredients and make sure there is no by products, sugar and artificial colors. Your dog sounds like he may need a simple food diet which blue buffalo and wellness both have. Have you tried those? I would really look into a vet nutritionist I think they could really help you and your dog.
