We went to see Vivi last night at the ER and she is better! Her eyes still looked very dull, but she did eat a little bit for us. Unfortunately, that appeared to make her feel nauseated, because right after eating she started licking her lips and bobbing her head. She did not vomit again, though.
The best news is that she does not have pancreatitis. Yeah!
Anyway, her xrays also appeared to be better, so hopefully there is no blockage. It is just taking the corn cob days to get through her system and causing horrible gastric pain. Because of this we left her again at the ER so she could receive fluids and anti-nausea medicine.
If all goes well, Vivi might be able to come home today or tonight.
If there is a lesson to be learned from this for my husband and myself, it is to take care of what could be really bad trash right away. If we eat corn on the cob again, it will go immediately in a bag and out to the garage trash can. I know the weirdest things can happen and obviously this is a prime example of my theory.

Yay, its getting better and better....You certainly are right, I've had mini catastrophies too with the strangest things...eggshells, grapes(uneducated at the time) and ear plugs...(long story)...My girlfriends dog almost died from eating a small amount of Panetone bread, very small. It clumped up in his stomach and required surgery as it became like a ball of glue sitting there....
I am really hoping Vivi comes home tonight, I'm sure your not getting much sleep, these little gals and guys are our hearts, aren't they? Keep us posted!
