You might try a wet food too.
All my pups get both.
Dry stays out all day and when very young I feed 2 small meals of wet.
MY oldest is now 5 months.. she and the other dogs get one wet meal a day.
Last night they had Chicken, rice and carrots...
They are so funny.. when they hear me get the plates..they know it's food time and will start raising heck..
