UPDATE: So Cali is doing well. She has days of better mobility but overall she can do things herself and that makes me so happy. 2 weeks from today is her followup and I can't wait. Anyway, yesterday I noticed her belly was distended and bloated. She did have a bowel movement but I was concerned b/c it happened overnight. We watched her all day and she acted normal. Today she is still normal but I called my vet b/c I'm concerned of side effects from all her meds. He said to talk with Neurology on our F/U about Grade IV Laser (K Laser) as a replacement for her meds. He also said that she could have iatrogenic Cushings from the Prednisone. My concern was asictes from the Dilantin. Anyway, she is acting normal but I really want to start weaning some of these meds. Her appt can't come quick enough. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments about the laser &/or her meds? Here's the link to the laser:
