I babysat my 8 month old niece who has been over about 5 times since she was born. Maggie always found her interesting. Maggie was glued to me all day. If I sat and held the baby, Maggie sat right against me. She has never been so cuddly as she was that day. She licked the baby and she sort of mouthed her hand a litttle one time. That was when the baby moved her hand sort of against Maggie's face. I think she thought she was rough playing the way my hubby and son sometimes do. I thought it was so cute how Maggie behaved, but I could see that she was either jealous or being protective and I know to be careful until Maggie accepts her as a normal part of being here. Of course she does play with anyone who comes over, so I know she will never just ignore her. |
