She also has some abnormality in her front legs but isn't exhibiting the muscle rigidity (mainly a tremor in her left frong leg although it is intermittent). For some reason none of the vets felt it had to do with her spine. My primary vet has some questions that I am going to take back to the Neuro clinic at MSU when I go. I think I'm going to ask him about this as well.
Dogs with spinal injuries will often after a bit get weak front legs & shoulders as they put too much strain on them . They will use their whole body differently causing weakness & spasms in other areas, mainly their shoulders causing the front legs to become weaker. All of these things can start to happen within 24 hrs of the injury. So Miss Joan did not make it last night but called & said she will be here today, I will show her Cali's pic's that you posted & see what she says. If you could post a clearer standing side view that would be great. Still Praying for sweet Cali.
