She started showing improvement when they started the Dilantin and Prednisone so they don't know which actually caused her to get better. She is on Valium to assist with muscle spasm and Pepcid b/c Prednisone affects the stomach. Tramadol is for pain and the vet told me, "If my legs were in constant contraction, I'd think it would be uncomfortable so we just want her to be comfortable." My biggest concern is getting her off all these meds if possible. It is very hard for hubby & me. Although I'm willing to do what she needs...?
