Glad he's fine, but for at least the next year, he'll probably eat anything that's on the ground. It's also a good idea to keep a little canned pumpkin in the house, it's high fiber and a 1 to 3 teaspoons can be given to them at each meal to help push the foreign object out. You can store the rest of the pumpkin in freezer; it will go bad in refrigerator. Make sure it the plain pumpkin, not the pie filling. If there is any vomiting you should see a vet because this could mean a bowel obstruction. Make sure he has plenty of chew toys and chew sticks; he's teething.
