i got out of bed this morning and found my pregnant female hiding under the bed. she came out enough to let me pet her. but when any of my other dogs came around she growled at them so i made her a bed in the cage where i want her to deliver and put her in there. she seemed restless and then wanted out of the cage but i didn't let her. she is due january 22. now she keeps looking at me and shivering and some panting. is this labor or is she just acting like that because she wants out of her cage? i squeezed her teats and no milk came to the surface. i don't have a thermometer to check her temp and my husband is gone for the day so i can't go buy one. does this sound like labor to everyone?
