Haha, when it was so cold here, I did the same thing, 2 quilts, never one really fit, LOL.
I had to run up to JoAnn's this morning to pick up some more white cotton. I have all my moms leftover material from her quilting days. I just cut them into 9" squares and going to piece them with the white. I'm not even putting joining strips between the rows, just squares, that way it will be really fast. Not pretty, but fast and for my bed quilt, I'm ok with that.
I will start sewing the squares together in the morning and I post it when I get the top made.
