I'm really sorry you are sick, and I hope you get better soon. You sound like you love your babies and would do anything to care for them. If your baby is under the care of a vet and he says that it's okay to wait, I think you should take care of yourself first, and that's not how I normally handle things myself, however. I agree with Carmen that you need to be strong enough to take care of your babies. There would be nothing that would stop me if I thought that my baby needed to see the vet, and it sounds like you are the same way. If your vet doesn't think waiting will harm your pup, then I'd listen to him. I had one of my babies in CHF. I took her every day for six weeks for the vet to flush out her kidneys because the enalapryl was bad for her kidneys, and we travelled 45 miles round trip each day after work and both days of the weekend. I know how serious a heart condition is. I would have done anything to help my Kiwi, but sometimes, even when we do everything right, we aren't able to save our babies. I did everything the doctor said, a doctor who I trusted implicitly, but we still lost my baby. It was not his fault nor mine. Please take care of yourself, and I hope things go really well on Friday for you and your baby. If anything changes in his health from now to Friday, call your vet and do everything you can to try to get him in before then. Feel better. Happy Valentine's Day. |
