If I was a vet, I wouldn't want somebody with the flu coming through my office for a recheck that can wait. YOUR VET is the only one qualified to tell you if it has to be done today.
For the record, I don't care how sick I am, I still come online and post. If I had the flu and my dog was dying and/or the vet said they had to come in immediately, then I'd absolutely find a way. But for a recheck that a vet says can wait...no.
Honestly, I love dogs but I don't think they are more important than people. Yes, some animals need advocates, but not one whose owner has spent 8 grand on her!

Awww thanks, I am laying in bed with one pup on my pillow and one on on my chest! I can hear both their hearts beating and isn't this a wonderful way to spend Valentines Day!
I love these pups more than anything, and would never jeopardize them. Physically, my gastrointestinal trac will not allow me to leave the house, while I have stopped vomiting I can't seem to stop the other end..(details for clarification purposes), the hacking is another subject...but with my two girls keeping me warm and listening to their little hearts beating....I'm good...!!

It is funny, each time I have to run to the bathroom they slink into my spot and return to their positions each time I come back!!
Just talked to my dr. said 5 days is too long, explained the cold and thennn the flu two days later, sent me some scripts for the cough. If not better by Thursday, must come in. Haven't been this sick in a loooongggg time..
