I like Maximo's answer, but after giving our cat medication this way, I know it can be so difficult. You say you are afraid she wouldn't get the full amount if you put it on her food, how about giving her a little food with the medicine, and then when she finishes all of that, add more food? Also there are gel capsules you can fill up with medication and use a pill popper or put some tasty treat on top. I melt string cheese, it's low fat and you can form it around pill, and when it cools they can't lick it off. They usually swallow it whole. I hope the medication helps her.
