That is an excellent timeline of photos Joey looked very similar.

The breeder had told me, some of the more scraggly looking pups (sparse hair/oily appearance), have the silkier coats but nothing can be guaranteed. I can imagine the more experienced show breeders know exactly what to look for and at what point i.e., 12 weeks, 16 weeks.
