Thank you all for your messages
Zac has always been a special boy, when he was born he was not breathing, my mum gave him mouth to mouth and brought him back but as he was starved of oxygen he has always been very slow at learning, it took about 6 years to house train him, he doesn't understand toys, he doesn't know to move in to the shade if its hot, as Zac is special he has always had his funny little ways, when he was younger he didn't like going for a walk he preferred going out in the car.... he doesn't like doors closed and thinks its funny if i put a blanket over his head and say 'wheres he gone' he dont like change and his routine has to stay the same
He has eaten sooo many things over the years that he shouldn't of like glass, wood, wall paper, carpet, plastic.... he nearly killed him self by eating a plastic dog toy which damaged his liver and caused him to have fits...he tried jumping off a balcony....nearly drowned in a toilet....got a fishing hook stuck in his tummy skin....just to mention a few things over the years
He might be 'special' but he is the most happiest dog you could ever meet as he lets nothing get him down...he is in the first stages of kidney failure but you would never know it...he has had a eye, sinus and chest infection for 4 years now but still keeps going strong, the vets have had him on antibiotics for 4 years but it has never cleared up and they are not sure how hes not got worse......
The vets told me a few weeks back that Zac could no longer have antibiotics as they just were not working and it would damage his kidneys so i had no idea how he would be off of them and if the infection would end up killing him so he might not of made his 18th..........
A few weeks back i put Zac on Aktivait Capsules to help with his brain function and strangely it has cleared his infection up

he is now on a kidney diet and all the symptoms of kidney problems have stopped
I just wanted to tell everyone that even when your yorkie is up against it they are little fighters and can beat the odds
