I know they can loss control of their instincts but they were supervised 100% of the time. Crates were used for both if unable to supervise. My yorkie was only 8 months at the time and my vet did not feel comfortable spaying her til she was older.

The OP is looking to stud her dog. I do not promote entering into breeding without researching and testing if all dogs involved.
