Oh, some of these are just too funny! lol

Brody was afraid of thunder and lightening when we first got him and we had some the first day he was with us so he was already unsettled when the thunder started. He started to head for the bathroom...he was kept in a bathroom most of the day at his previous home...but I called him and told him it was okay, and cuddled him all night and now he is not bothered by it.

However, since we got Mia, she sets Brody off because she barks for any noise...she was alone most of the day at her previous home, too. They are both calming back down and will quit barking if you act as excited as them to have heard the noise, too, and tell them it is OK or ENOUGH....GOOD...and NO if they persist in barking or 'huffing' after knowing they should quiet down.

Brody is a bit more laid back and 'toddler-like' than Mia, but when Mia instructs him to, he gets up on his little male Yorkie high
horse ready to 'kill' whatever Mia says he should. Today, it was a bird hollering incessantly that Brody objected to..and then Mia started 'huffing' because Brody found a monster ! lol

Both babies are very brave and investigative, but will jump and shy at plenty of things, including a crinkly bag that did not just come home with Our Mommy or Our Daddy. lol

They basically seem to be very 'strong' when 'protecting' us from anything they think is 'dangerous' at all...inclulding our kitties, but very spooky about protecting themselves.
