Green beans can't hurt anything so why not-it's more of a dietary supplement for them than a first aid triage type of remedy.
Personally if it was ozzing I'd schedule with the vet, but it grosses me out.
If it keeps up for more than 48 hours you should definitely schedule for the vet to just check it, a regular non-emergency but soon check up.
Infection and compacting is the major issue with anal glands.I'd also make sure she keep the area clean in the mean time like using an antibacterial substance around her bum-like (mother's apple cider vinegar) you can buy at any grocery especially since the holiday to keep bacteria from getting int here right now. Just externally coat her or keep washing her with an antibacterial rinse. |
