[Sugar's Mom]

I took Ceeby to the vet the day after I got him for his well puppy check. He was eating pretty good at that time but at eight weeks only weighed nine ounces. The vet told me to give him Nutrical two or three times a day. Also the breeder said he needed it twice a day for awhile. I was giving him a dose, just the tip of my finger, right before bedtime at night because he doesn't eat at night then again in the morning for the same reason. he weighs three pounds now and is a little over five months. I have only recently felt comfortable not giving it. I only give it now when he is not feeling well and I know that he hasn't eaten anything or enough. He had a sick spell over the weekend and is now only eating out of my hand and only a little bit so I am giving him nutrical when I think he needs it and until he gets his eating back up.
