It's SAD that there is a possibility in todays world that someone could actually do something on purpose to hurt an innocent little animal. You just never know, Some People are just nutssssss !!
I would check your yard for anything that does not belong and keep them cameras rolling ! Make sure that there is no area that is'nt on camera.
