Thank you so much for your empathy and good wishes. Austin is progressing well and normally and the constant medical attention is very comforting in these early post-op days. The last weeks leading up to the surgery have been very taxing and worrying, but now the surgery is over, love and caring will soon have him feeling better again.

Yes the power outage was a pain and I am glad Austin was in the hospital where they had power and not here last night! However, there are people far worse off with floods winds and hurricanes, and we cannot complain too much for a few hours with no power.
