I did the x pens when they were smaller and expanded them as they grew.
They are potty pad train now and they have the kitchen and their room during the day when I am not home. When I come home they can roam anywhere. I do keep gates up at several rooms all the time. Usually they stay right next to me.
In kitchen where they noramlly greet me when I come home.
Gate is behind the little green bed.
Jack usually goes here when I leave. It's his sad area.
Quiet room which is really my computer room. There is a radio and TV. I leave one or the other on low when I leave. I think they sleep some during the day here. They have toys also everywhere. Potty pad off to the side in kitchen and quiet room.
There is a low chair in front of window in kitchen that Jack gets up on and can look at. There are hedges in front of window so he can see out but you can't see in. He goes there and looks out when he hears the gate open.
I live alone so I have more space and room to spare.
