I was mistaken, as I feel I have become a better pet owner over the years just from experience. I am more commited now, but that only happened because I have 'more' to be committed to, since my pack has increased to 4.
I was very unsettled at that age, in all aspects of my life. And my plans changed many times... and still do, just not as often, and with more restrictions and commitments to be taken into consideration.

I agree.. I think I am a better pet owner now. My family was not "indoor" pet owners and did not view pets as I do now.
I can say.. I used to hear of people spending 1000 of dollars to save a pet. Before I had my pack I just didn't understand. I had a little shih tuz that got very ill... I spend 1000s of dollars trying to save her. I don't regret a penny and now after "walking in those shoes" I understand.
